The College of Teacher Education (CTE) proudly held its first-ever Students’ Research Congress 2024, a groundbreaking event designed to engage student-researchers in scholarly discussions and promote research excellence. The congress took place at the CTE’s audio-visual room and featured 16 student presentations from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED), and Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAED).

With the guidance of Dr. Jaime G. Raras, Acting Campus Director of ISPSC-Main and Dean of CTE, and Ms. Tricia L. Gundran, CTE’s Research Coordinator, the event aimed to accelerate research productivity within the department. Seasoned evaluators, including Dr. Ranec Azarias, Dr. Christian Gandeza, and Dr. Arjay Gacula, provided insightful feedback to the presenters, ensuring the high standard of research excellence.

    • 1st Place: “Pagsusuri sa mga Piling Maikling Kuwento ni Dr. Eulalio R. Guieb III” by Nicole D. Macadangdang et al.

Third-year students currently taking Field Study – 1 attended as observers, gaining valuable insights into research presentations and processes. Organizers expressed their hope to make the Research Congress an annual tradition, fostering a strong research culture and encouraging future presenters to refine and excel in their academic pursuits.
