On August 28, 2024, the College of Teacher Education (CTE) at ISPSC Main Campus hosted a Pre-deployment Orientation for Observers and Practice Teachers from the Main Campus and Candon Campus. This essential event aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and guidance needed for their forthcoming fieldwork in the classroom.

During the orientation, participants were briefed on critical topics to ensure their readiness and adherence to professional standards. These included:

  • The content of Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) outlining expectations and responsibilities.
  • The Child Protection Policy, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding students’ welfare.
  • Republic Act 6713, which defines the ethical standards and code of conduct for public officials and employees in the Philippines.
  • The MATATAG Curriculum, the cornerstone of the educational framework they will implement during their practice teaching.
