First-year students of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) at ISPSC immersed themselves in the dynamic world of 21st Century Literacies during a culminating activity for their subject, Building and Enhancing New Literacies across the Curriculum. Held on August 25, 2024, at the college gymnasium, the event revolved around the theme: “Fostering Future-Ready Minds: New Literacies for the 21st Century.”
The students, hailing from the four CTE programs—Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Physical Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education—enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities aimed at promoting future-ready skills and values.
A central feature of the event was the culmination exhibit, where students set up booths showcasing their literary works and artworks. These exhibits reflected their personal advocacies, including themes such as environmentalism, societal issues, reading promotion, and support for ISPSC’s mission.
