Description

What a delightful day, ISPSCians!

This Rimat Day, we invite you to ponder life’s deeper questions:

  • What is the meaning of your existence?
  • Is there more beyond this earthly life?
  • Can there be another chance after all is said and done?

Amid the uncertainties of life and the inevitability of its end, may we find value in every fleeting moment that shapes who we are today.

This week’s featured poem, “Can I Have Another Start?” by Jade Anne G. Tabaco, eloquently explores these themes. It reflects on life’s phases, struggles, and the desire for renewal.

𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭?
by Jade Anne G. Tabaco

The moment you opened your eyes,
You let out a big cry
This now marks the start,
Of a life tailored like an art

From crawling to walking,
And babbling to talking
Each phase passed,
Like an air walked past

Finding your purpose,
To not live like a ghost
Life can be hard,
It catches you off guard

Lived life as far as you can go,
In breath, you take one final blow
For the last time, you blink your eye,
However, now, you’re not the one to cry

How is it really to be alive?
If you die after you strive
Is this life tailored like an art?
After this life, can I have another start?
